NASA Goddard Space Flight Center
NASA Goddard’s GeoDome Theater provides programming at its visitor center and in outreach programs. In October 2009 NASA Goddard’s GeoDome was invited to be part of a Star Party hosted on the White House lawn.
Journey Museum – GeoDome Theater
“Journey Into Space” is an outreach program that utilizes a GeoDome Theater to improve student, educator, and general public understanding of earth/space science and its relationship to NASA goals and objectives.
Worldviews Network
This three-year project links a network of participating planetariums and GeoDomes across the country and create visualizations and programming that educate audiences about global change issues.
Denver Museum of Nature and Science
This GeoDome Theater brings the “Great Space Escape” program, a tour of the night sky and the solar system using Uniview, to local schools.
California Academy of Sciences
The GeoDome Theater at CAS has been a great success as part of its exhibits: with a custom cover printed to look like an igloo, the GeoDome became the main attraction in the “Tis the Season for Science” exhibit.
NOAA Pacific
NOAA Pacific’s GeoDome is used in local outreach programs to educate and inspire stewardship through content focused on critical issues affecting global and local ecosystems.
University of Michigan Exhibit Museum Planetarium
As part of renovations to the University of Michigan Exhibit Museum Planetarium, a GeoDome Evolver replaced the original opto-mechanical starball system.
Southwest Minnesota State University
With a digital projector and Uniview as well as a Spitz starball, SMSU hosts collaborative presentations as part of the Minnesota Regional Planetarium Network.
Como Elementary School – GeoDome Evolver
Como Elementary School’s OmniFocus 200 series projector sits in front of the starball, updating traditional astronomy with the digital capabilities of WorldViewer’s Open Playground astronomy extension.
Manitoba Museum
The Ancient Seas is a custom Elumenati exhibit enabling high-resolution multi-screen video playback, running three projectors from a single IG (image generating computer).
Discovery Place
At The Innovation Wall, visitors use touchscreens to create and remix “virtual graffiti” that is projected holographically on an acrylic screen.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
The Earth Science Center at NASA JPL features an Elumenati digital video globe. We installed an OmniFocus dual-projector system in 2013, which runs the Eyes software platforms as well as Global Imagination’s StoryTeller® software.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
Several NOAA centers have GeoDome Portals or Elumenati interactive kiosks, and we’ve partnered on two recent grants awarded for environmental literacy education.
NVIDIA Immersive Dome
We designed a custom dome and hosted immersive shows for nearly 1000 visitors at NVIDIA’s booth at SIGGRAPH 2005.
UCLA Design | Media Arts
Celestial Mechanics is showcased in an OpenDome with OmniFocus projection. We helped the creators format their fulldome content for the Elumenati system.
